Frequently Asked Questions

If you still have more questions we don’t address here, feel free to give us a call.

What Coronavirus (Covid-19) protocols are in place at your facility?

We have doctors on staff and an office on premise. We test everyone, every day and that includes the staff as well. We’re doing everything possible to make sure your loved one is as safe as possible within our community during this pandemic.

What kind of doctors are on your premises?

The following doctors are available for your loved ones to see:

  • Optometrist
  • Audiologist
  • Podiatrist

We also offer three different types of therapy:

  • Physical
  • Speech
  • Occupational
Where is the nearest hospital in the event of an emergency?

In the case of an absolute emergency, The Pathways at Warrington is situated right between two great hospitals. The Abington – Lansdale Hospital is about 15 minutes to our west, and the Doylestown Hospital is about 15 minutes north of us.

Do you allow pets?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets within The Pathways facility. However, we do understand the importance of animal therapy for some of our residents, so we do include activities that involve cats and dogs!

Do you have a community bus?

Yes! We have an activities calendar that keeps our residents busy. Most of the time the activities can be done within the comforts of The Pathways community. But occasionally we do have an activity for our residents that requires a little bit of travel. If and when that occurs we do have a community bus for everyone.

Who's around to help when it is past office hours?

There is always someone on duty at The Pathways at Warrington. We have licensed nurses working 24/7 to ensure your loved one is always safe and healthy. We also have night manager couples who work inside the building to maintain security. However, if you’re simply looking to talk to someone once our offices are closed, you may reach out to Michele DiVincenzo at 267-228-4690. She’s always available and always willing to help!

What security measures are in place?

There is a lot that goes into maintaining the safety and security of your loved one. As we said earlier, we have nurses on duty 24/7, night managers who work the front desk at all hours, and a maintenance crew who’s constantly on call. That being said, within the rooms we have a call-bell system at every bedside and in every bathroom. This allows for assistance to be called at any time. Your loved one’s health is our top priority.

Who handles maintenance?

Certainly not your loved one and certainly not you! It’s definitely one of the better features of living in a community as opposed to home. If you or a loved one notice a maintenance issue, you may bring it up to one of our staff members. They’ll be happy to pass it along to one of our maintenance crew members. They are on-call 24/7 to ensure the building and all of its pieces are working just the way they should be.
